playing with your slime:

slime care

To start, wash your hands & apply lotion. Slime will stick to dirty hands. We recommend playing with on or over a clean table. It's important to handle slime quickly so it doesn't stick to your hands! Poke ONE FINGER into slime to test.

Depending on climate, your slime could melt in warm temperatures or become stiff due to the cold. You can find fixes for these problems below. If these tips don't work, it may not be possible to repair it. It is normal for slime to shrink and deflate over time, but if you care for it properly and store it at about 60 degrees, you should be able to enjoy your Cape Cod Slime for years!

How to make activator:

1.

2.

3.

4.

Add 1 tsp. of provided borax to 1 cup of warm water.

Mix it until the borax dissolves and let solution cool to room temperature.

Add the solution in SMALL AMOUNTS!

Kneed your slime until it's smooth!

some notes:

Clear slime melts faster than white glue slime.

Cloud slime is made by mixing slime with fake snow. Our cloud slimes have a little snow fallout & do leave a bit of residue on your hands from the snow!

remember: Keep your slime away from pets, clothes, carpets, and furniture.

If it is cold out your slime may be stiff. Warming it up with your hands can help. If that doesn't work, add a drop of your favorite lotion & knead.

If it is cold out your slime may be stiff. Warming it up with your hands can help. You can also microwave it in 5 sec. increments. Do not add lotion, as it will make the clear slime foggy.

Butter slime is made by mixing slime & air-dry clay. It may dry up if you play with it for more than 20 mins or leave it uncovered. Try adding a little lotion and knead. If it has dried up from being left out, there is no way to fix it.

Try adding lotion & knead until smooth.

It may need some activator! Add in little drops & knead.

This will happen with too much activator.  But slime will get stickier overtime & fix itself.

Cloud slime shouldn't have lumps, so you might need to pull & stretch the slime until it has more body.
